In 1988, Hagery Tours of Franconia sponsored a contest where WNPV listeners could enter to win a trip to Disney World in Orlando. The contest was promoted on the AM Edition program where additional prizes could be won. This was the official entry form printed in the Perkasie News-Herald.

To celebrate their 20th year of broadcasting in the North Penn Valley, WNPV held a contest with $3,300 in prizes (adjusted for inflation, this would be just over $11,000 in 2022 dollars).
